3 Things You Should Know When Popping The Question
Can you feel it in the air? No not the heat, although that’s pretty nice! Thanks for that! Engagement and wedding season is upon us now and you know what that means…. Summer weddings and lots if newly engaged couples.
We can see why the summer is a popular time for couples to ask that burning question that has been on their minds for months or even years. Summer brings with it the nice weather and allows you to get adventurous with your planning of the proposal. So many nice outdoor venues to choose from, as opposed to the cold and wet weather we are accustomed to here in the UK. So you might be ready to pop the question to a loved one but here are 3 Things You Should Know When Popping The Question this Summer!

- After you propose you will get the next question right away! “When’s the wedding” Like you have just popped the question and asked your true love to spend the rest of their lives with you, give the man a second people. Yes that’s right, before you even have time to soak up your new relationship status people will start asking you when the wedding will be!
- Saying “Fiancé” is just plain weird at first and maybe throughout. I don’t believe anyone truly gets use to saying “my fiancé” it sounds weird and pretentious to me LOL. All the better for a short engagement and then you can swap it for husband or wife which i still feel weird saying but each to their own.
- Remember this is a big deal get it right. This story of how you got engaged will come up so much initially but it will also come up the rest of your lives when children and grandchildren ask you the story. You don’t want to be the person who dropped down on one knee in the biscuit aisle of Tesco, now do you? It doesn’t have to cost the earth but you can definitely make an effort, especially in this glorious weather!
Happy Popping!
